Excellent book written in a way that makes sense. If you enjoy reading books that get down to business and reduce unneeded detail, this book is for you.
Among the recommendations that this book makes is that you give up on girls who did not put out by the night after the third date. For the sake of "getting more lays", that makes sense as you'll want to keep a continuously rolling and responsive roster of girls, but consider the social implications of this.
I heard about this book repeatedly while perusing the manosphere, where men are (rightfully) critical of the Sluttiest Generation. However, if acting the Alpha means punishing girls who hold out past the third date, we've made a Catch-22 for any young woman striving to be a Lady. If she is (rightfully) hesitant to accept your dick after three dates, she is more worthy of your time, not less.
At the center of this book are ideas like 1) Image is something to be concerned about and 2) Illusions are something to be proud of. If your goal is merely to "get more lays", this book will teach you how to do that and nothing more. It shows you how to Act Alpha in order to trick women into sleeping with you, but is promoted as a book that helps you to Be Alpha.
Acting Alpha has nothing to do with Being Alpha. I rated this book five stars for being exactly what it claims to be, but it is a waste of time for any man looking to improve himself or his community.
Hmmm...How coincidental most the low 1 start reviews come consecutively one after another.....Perhaps a feminist group out to bash?? And they are short 2 line non- descrip reviews??..........RIDICULOUS
Dont believe one word of these 1 start reviews. NO WHERE DOES HE EVER MENTION MUCH LESS CONDONE RAPE nor do any of the sexual acts described in this book even look or feel in the slightest bit to be of the non-consentual variety.
For a male who struggles with women that picks up this book.....You will learn BIBLES full of truth. This is "the way it really is" and NOT the way it is stuck up in your head. Use these pices of wisdom and gold and you will not only becaome better with women but you will also end up a better person.
Its id defenetly a good read and over all good book, for everyone.... some things you may know already but you can always find something you didnt try or know or realize before that will be in the book. I enjoy reading it, it is good info and reference book. I defenetly recommend reading....
Bang is basically a book on how to approach and pickup women. I personally think that most of the books tackling this subject are corny, full of clichees and ,even worse, full of wannabe-scientific terms, e.g. pua, ioi, dhv, kino, etc. which makes them horrible to read.
Bang on the other hand is a fun read. It entertains, makes you laugh and is straight to the point. I found that all important aspects of "game" are well covered here and will get the newbie started to successfully get laid. The book's focus is set on US women (who seem horrible, btw), hence a European-player like myself has to adjust his game, but thats a minor issue since the right mindset is the more important thing when it comes to pickup women and believe me, Bang will get your mind right! Here stands my vote against a country that believes it is ok to casually discuss book burning/banning.
In fact I feel so strongly about this issue of book burning/banning I'm going to get my brand new copy of this book today. Just so I know the author gets paid. I have a whole bookshelf of books I've never read. This will be a well received addition. Let this stand as a lesson to those of you promoting communist values in our democratic republic.
In the U.S of A. we don't ban, or burn books. We believe in the Constitution of the United States of America. You may not like a book someone wrote, but another person may not like a book you are very fond of, or a piece of art and so on it goes. So if you can get a book you dislike burned, then what is to stop another person burning all of the french paintings, or all of the encyclopedias since they can be used by terrorists?
You don't like a book you vote with your wallet. That is the American way!

Most of the ratings come from people who have never read the book, I have and this book does not deserve this much hate. No where in the book does Roosh condone rape or any shady behavior of that sort. This book has riled up a lot of hate from SWJ activist groups who believe Roosh is a scumbag, they have the right to their opinion. However, They do not have the right to slander the author's name and work because he has views that differ from theirs. There's a difference between criticism and full blown controversy, Bang really isn't that dangerous of a book to be so controversial. The book merely gives men the tools an ideas to improve their confidence and overall relations with women. That being said, I implore readers to give the book a chance, you can get a very clear idea of the book's direction from the first few pages
