I must first say that I am in an alternative lifestyle relationship and I am a masochist. My fantasies have for years revolved around the idea of non-consensual but loving adult spanking and discipline. This book fits that description to a tee. If you are looking for a "Christian" story, move on. These stories are more for the BDSM D/s crowd. However, the fetish community will absolutely love these stories.
This book has some really creative stories!
So I think it's fair to say I didn't really like most of the short stories in this book, but I LOVED the last one "The Love of a Husband" which was the longest story, it was worth buying just for that one. For anyone who read Leah Kelley's "The Love of the Father" it's like that one only in reverse.
This is not just domestic discipline, but it's Christian domestic discipline. NO sex, lots of spanking and religion.
Domestic discipline is still used today but so many people think it's abuse. When I mess up, I expect discipline and learn from it. This was a very enlightening story
This collection of short stories are a light and fun read. Perfect for when you don't have a lot of time but want to get some reading in.
IT WAS OKAY, I WANTED IT TO BE A LITTLE MORE LIGHT HEARTED, BUT IT WAS OKAY. I GUESS I WOULD BY ANOTHER BY THIS AUTHOR.
I thought this book was great, in fact, I have re-read it numerous times. Several reviewers seem to have misinterpreted the subject content of this book even though it is clearly stated in the description.
For anyone who needs clarification, this book is definitely all about domestic discipline. There are rules; you break the rules, you face the consequences.
You won't find men in these stories who are weak or will bend with the change of the wind. They will deal with disobedience, disrespect, dishonesty and carelessness with their hand, belt or paddle. They strive to teach the women in their lives in a loving, yet firm manner.
If you are looking for a warm, fuzzy, romance novel - keep looking because this one isn't your genre. On the other hand, if you're looking for stories of men who will take charge even if that means a sore bottom, then this one's for you.
